Welcome to the first edition of Media Forum Online, coming to your email and available on mslma.org five times a year. Publishing an electronic newsletter has many advantages, the most obvious being the immediacy and speed.
Look for new features and new faces, but also expect old favorites.
Each issue will deliver a President's Message, and will center on a theme. Our Annual Conference takes center stage for September, but look for the focus to shift to Intellectual Freedom, Model School Rubrics, Collaboration, and Summer Reading in the future issues. Media Forum Online will be published five times a year.
Our regions have re-aligned to coincide with the Massachusetts Library Information Network, giving us six regions instead of seven. The Media Forum will spotlight a region in each issue, giving us a chance to meet the MSLMA Area Director, and to read highlights of regional happenings.
